Bianca Juarez Olthoff

Pastor & Church Planter, The Father’s House

As both a pastor and author who has been in ministry for more than 20 years, Bianca inspires people to live with passion. Her leadership at The Father’s House Orange County has allowed her church to reach people all over the world, and as the founder and president of the non-profit, In The Name of Love, she is committed to serving the incarcerated and equipping them to discover freedom despite their surroundings. Olthoff describes herself as a passionate, Jesus-loving, Bible-teaching, book-writing MexiRican. When the opportunity to lead comes our way, we all respond differently. While some of us eagerly embrace the call to lead, others require a little convincing. In fact, many leaders have feelings of being unqualified, not enough, and that they will soon be “found out”. Through her own story and experience as a leader Bianca Juarez Olthoff will help us quiet the voices of negativity in our lives, embrace our roles as leaders, and lead more boldly in our arena of influence.

Malcom Gladwell

One of the responsibilities of leadership, particularly when it comes to creating cultures and gearing towards innovation—is the need to focus on urgency. Join Malcom Gladwell, as he explores the untold stories of two leaders who accomplished breakthrough innovations. Discover what was behind these successes, and how their leaders utilized their influence to create urgency and give the permission to risk all for innovation.

Francesca Gino

Professor, Harvard Business School

Dr. Francesca Gino is a professor in the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at Harvard Business School recognised for her award-winning research and teaching on how to have more productive, creative and fulfilling lives. With a diverse expertise on the psychology of organisations, she is a sought-after consultant and speaker with some of her clients including Disney, Goldman Sachs, Honeywell, Novartis and P&G. SESSION TOPIC: Breaking the Rules That Hold us Back
In general, education and life teach us to conform and the longer you are in your field the easier conformity to the norms of the group becomes. This is unfortunate because conformity and mindless acceptance of rules stifles creativity. And, as strange as it might sound, the people who are doing the best work in their respective fields generally tend to be the rule breakers rather than followers of all the conventions. In this session, Francesca Gino helps us all discover how to break the rules, that hold us back. Walk away with 3 talents that the best rebels employ to create the future all of us desire.

Michelle Poler

SESSION TOPIC: Overcoming Fear, Living Courageously
It has been said that the strongest of leaders overcome their fears and compel their team to do the same. But what if this isn’t how a great leader tackles fear? What if our best leaders don’t get rid of their fears but lean into them with bravery and pass that courage on to others. Michelle Poler will explore different types of fears and how our body processes it, ways to engage when we feel afraid, and the difference between fearless and brave

Rich Wilkerson Jr.

Co-Founder, VOUS Leadership Conference

Rich Wilkerson Jr. is a dynamic communicator and author with a passion to encourage and inspire young adults. Born into four generations of church planters and leaders, Wilkerson started a young adults ministry called “The Rendezvous.” In 2010, this ministry grew to form both the VOUS Leadership Conference and later in 2015, VOUS Church where he serves as a lead pastor. Through his leadership, VOUS Church has become known as a catalyst of faith, creativity and diversity celebrating the unique culture of its vibrant city in Miami, Florida. Each Summer, he and his wife and co-founder, DawnCheré continue to host thousands of young adults at the annual VOUS Leadership Conference. Ibukun Awosika

Founder & CEO, The Chair Centre Group

Ibukun Awosika’s has vast combined entrepreneurial and high-level corporate and not-for-profit board experience across various sectors and geographies spanning over three decades. Globally recognized, she has received multiple awards, including the 2020 Forbes “Woman Africa Chairperson” award, and was also the first Nigerian recipient of the prestigious “International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge” award in 2008. Today, Awosika leads as founder and CEO of The Chair Centre Group, overseeing manufacturing, retail and bank-way security system services. Awosika also formerly led as chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, the country’s premier and most valuable banking brand. Over the course of her career, her leadership has given her the honor of influencing Nigeria’s economic growth by chairing a number of corporate and nonprofit boards including, d.light Design Inc., Convention on Business Integrity, Digital Jewels Limited, and Afterschool Graduate Development Centre, a facility which she promoted to help address youth employability and enterprise issues in Nigeria. She also sits on the boards of Cadbury Nigeria Plc and the International Advisory Board of IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. She was Chairman of GEMS Africa Limited, FBN Life Insurance Limited, FBN Capital Limited and Kakawa Discount House Limited. She also served on the pioneer board of Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, as well as the National Job Creation Committee. Awosika is a graduate of Chemistry from The University of Ife, Nigeria; an alumna of the Chief Executive Programme of Lagos Business School; the Global Executive MBA of IESE Business School (Barcelona); and Global CEO Programme of Wharton, IESE and China European International Business School. With high interest in social issues, including the plight of women in society, Awosika is co-founder and former chairperson of Women in Business, Management and Public Service, as well as the president of International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation. An ordained pastor and founder of the Christian Missionary Fund, her faith-based organization works with hundreds of missionaries across Nigeria to change lives with the provision of medical and educational supplies and resources. Albert Tate

Founding Pastor, Fellowship Church; Host, Albert Tate Podcast; Author

Albert Tate is the founding pastor of Fellowship Church—one of the fastest-growing multiethnic churches in the United States. As a dynamic communicator, blending the power of storytelling with a good sense of humor, Tate enjoys illustrating God’s amazing grace and love in church, academic and conference settings. GENERAL

Does everyone attending GLS21 require their own ticket?

Yes. We ask that you honour our request that every person who attends GLS21 must be an individual ticketholder. This ensures our ongoing viability as a not-for-profit and allows us to continue to offer access to the Summit at a very affordable price. 

Which speakers will be shown for the GLS in Singapore?

The final speaker line-up for the Singaporean GLS21 has now been confirmed!

Do I get access to Video-on-Demand?

Yes, all who register for GLS21 (Online or Local) will receive 7-days VOD access (22 – 29 November 2021) provided they supply their email address in our registration system.

How do I update each person's details in my group booking?

When you purchased your registrations, you received a confirmation/receipt email. On this email there are links to manage and update your registrations.  

Please contact info@glssingapore.org if you need this email to be resent.

Who informs my group?

The Group Leader will receive correspondence from GLNA which in turn they will communicate to their group.

Are concession rates available?

No. We have intentionally reduced the ticket price for GLS21 to enable more people than ever to experience the Summit.

Can I cancel my GLS ticket?

No, all GLS21 registrations are non-refundable.

What can I do to best support the GLS and the Global Leadership Network Singapore?

Join us for GLS21, gift a ticket to a friend who has never attended before, and actively promote the Summit among your networks – it’s never been more affordable or easy to attend!

GLS ONLINE

When will I receive my unique link to view GLS Online?

An email will be sent to the email address given at time of registration, in the days prior to the event date. Please make sure you update us with any change to you or your teams email addresses.

What are the start/finish and session times for GLS Online?

The exact schedule will be published in the GLS Notebook, which will be distributed to those registered in the week of the event.

The online experience will run from:

  • 10am – 5.30pm (NSW, VIC, ACT, TAS)
  • 9am – 4.30pm (QLD)
  • 8.30am – 4.00pm (SA, NT)
  • 7am – 2.30pm (WA)

What does my GLS Online registration include?

  • Unique event watch link for GLS Online. 
  • GLS21 Digital Notebook 
  • 7-days Video-on-Demand

Can I transfer from one GLS Online date to another?

Yes, however, you must do so at least two weeks from the event date that you have registered for. Please email info@glssingapore.org with the request. NOTE: All tickets in your group must attend the same event date and cannot be split up.

GLS LOCAL

What are the start/finish and session times for GLS Local?

This will be up to your Local Host, and each site will vary on how they deliver the GLS Local. Most groups will want to host a one-day event however, you could choose to hold two half-days, several evenings (spread over multiple weeks), or take longer discussion times and host your Summit across two-days. 

As Group Leader, you’ll just need to communicate these details directly with those who’ve registered for your event. 

 

What does my GLS Local registration include?

GLS Local Group Leader receives:

  • Marketing, Event and Production Kits
  • GLS21 programming content to run your GLS Local anytime between 8th October – 21st November 2021
  • Real-time access to Brushfire ticketing updates
  • Ongoing Support from our GLNA team

Every individual registration includes:

  • GLS21 Digital Notebook
  • 7-days Video-on-Demand (22nd – 29th November)

Will there be catering at the GLS Local?

This will be up to your GLS Local Host and they will communicate any details with you directly. GLS Local Hosts can choose to make catering arrangements direct with their group members, and accept payment on the day or beforehand through their own preferred payment gateway.

How long do I have to host my GLS Local?

Your Summit must be held during a 6-week period from Friday 8 October – Sunday 21 November 2021.

When will I receive the programming content?

The GLS Local Group Leader will receive all pre-recorded speaker and event content (4 video session files) on Thursday 7 October 2021.

Can I invite others to register themselves and join my GLS Local? Can I communicate directly with my group members?

Yes! As a GLS Local host, we will provide you access to our Brushfire registration portal, allowing for greater automation and empowering you to communicate directly with your group delegates.
  • Access to your real-time registration list
  • Ability to email those in your group (e.g. for parking or catering requirements)
  • Share your group name (or unique URL) to have others join

Are there any minimum requirements to become a GLS Local Host?

  • Minimum group size of 10 people or more.
  • All participants need to register via our website.
  • Event must be held during a 6-week period from Friday 8 October – Sunday 21 November 2021.
  • Large screen or method of projection is essential so your participants can comfortably watch and engage with the GLS speakers.
  • Standard broadband internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to stream large video files.
  • Start/finish/break times are fully flexible.
  • May be held as a one-day event or across multiple days or sessions.
  • Live music and catering are optional.
